Daredevil and Affleck’s relationship has been tumultuous. As a result of his tenure as Daredevil, Affleck vowed in 2006 that he would never portray a superhero again. After he finished playing Daredevil in 2013, he stated he hated it, and he’s been repeating that opinion ever since. The actor did ultimately return to the superhero genre, though. Even if he’s set to star in The Flash later in the year and, Affleck has made it clear that portraying Batman hasn’t made him happy, and he’s stated that sentiment publicly.
