House of the Dragon: Plot
House of the Dragon, which was adapted from George R. R. Martin’s Targaryen historical novel Fire & Blood, takes place 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones.
The Dance of the Dragons, a notorious historical occurrence in Westeros, will be the main subject of the series. Following the death of their father Viserys I, siblings Aegon II and Rhaenyra engaged in a civil war for control of the crown. Other houses, including the Starks and Lannisters, joined either side of the conflict, which pitted all of Westeros against one another. Powerful dragons, maybe similar to Game of Thrones dragon names from House Targaryen suffered a great deal of death and became extinct shortly after until Daenerys Targaryen hatched three eggs hundreds of years later.
The Battles and Build-up for House of the Dragon
Condal tells EW that “nobody living in this scenario has ever witnessed a war or a significant battle.” “Yes, there have been battles and competitions, but our civilization is founded on power struggles. We are living in a time where men are raised to be warriors, yet no actual battles ever take place. It practically takes the outbreak of war to prevent the buildup of repressed energy from leaking out between the cracks and wearing itself out.” The first House of the Dragon Trailer gives us brief glimpses of some of this action, including some classic GOT-style sword combat, jousting, and dramatic dashing along lengthy halls.
Why did House of the Dragon’s trailer get out early?
Three days previous to the show’s Comic-Con panel, the trailer for HBO’s House of the Dragon was published, raising the issue of why it wasn’t included in the event. There are a lot of ways HBO could have done this to help their newest program, which is situated in the world of new Game of Thrones. However, considering how important Comic-Con is to all sides of fandom each year, it is a little perplexing to leave out such a highly anticipated trailer from the panel.
HBO is Already Getting Ready for THE PREQUEL OF The House Of Dragon, “10,000 Ships“
Because the first episode of “House of the Dragon” did so well, HBO gave the go-ahead for a new prequel, which has already been shown.
It’s about the book “10,000 Ships.” The series will take place about 800 years before the events of “Game of Thrones” and will be about Princess Nymeria and her journey to Dorne. The first episode of “House of the Dragon” gave us a taste of this story.
A young Arya Stark was so moved by Nymeria’s stories that she named her Direwolf after the famous warrior.
There have been “Game of Thrones” stories for a long time.
